National Canyons Free Screensaver is a nice screensaver that includes lots of images of national canyons from different parts of the United States. The images show amazing landscapes with canyons of different sizes and heights, and some of them even include rivers, streams, and a lot of vegetation. The images are shuffled, so many of them appear several times, while others only once in a while. They are shown with a different transition effect, which, sadly, you won't be able to customize. Unfortunately, the screensaver doesn't include music or sounds, and neither can you add your own like in other screensavers.
The settings menu includes a small viewer enables you to view some of the images while you configure the screensaver. From this menu, you will be able to customize the video mode, image transition time, the time the images remain on the screen, and the screen brightness. If you want, you can also add an FPS counter and a digital clock (12h or 24h) in one of the screen corners. It would be great if the screensaver also included captions with the locations of the canyons.
